I grew up in Shenzhen China, a beautiful coastal city on the southern bay area. I graduated from Claremont McKenna College
in 2015 with a BA in Literature and Accounting, and a MA in Finance. Books are not the best place for me to learn, people are.
I served in the student-run government and joined a variety of organization including non-profit, dancing, consulting and founded
a multilingual magazine at college. Following strictly what college is all about: play hard, work hard.
I started in the finance industry working on modeling, financial analysis, and market research. Gradually I found myself grown up
enough to take on the whole workflow of a project. Over the last 2 years, I successfully lead the underwriting team to close cases
of over $100 million annual premium and over $300 million total coverage. Not only being adept at managing and coordinating multiple
projects simultaneously, I am also able to maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels while keeping intern team
productive.
With a passion in multicultural education, I was a volunteer in the Kid Launch Program in Thailand and still look for chances to
volunteer at local schools in hometown when time permits. As a young professional seeking for growth, my favourite quote is "Work
to learn, not work to earn."
